Job summary

Qualifications

• MD degree is required.
• Virginia medical license is required.
• Active DEA license is required.
• CPR and BLS certifications are required.
• ACLS certifications where needed.
• Credentialing in accordance with medical staff by-laws for specific job title.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and surgical care for chronic pain patients as designated by the department chairman.
• Perform histories and physicals, order and interpret tests, diagnose and treat conditions.
• Collaborate with the medical team to deliver organized, cost-effective patient care.
• Supervise staff and trainees including medical students, residents and pain fellows.
