Job summary

YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is seeking a part-time CDP program assistant at Baxter YMCA in Indianapolis. You will help plan and deliver Chronic Disease Prevention programs, engaging participants and supporting their physical health and well-being goals.

You will provide instruction in a motivating, friendly environment, build relationships within the small community, be available before and after class, and enter data securely after each session.

• Provide effective instruction in a motivating environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering CDP programs.
• Provide instruction to class participants and foster a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere.
• Develop relationships to foster small community connections.
• Be available to participants before and after class to answer questions and follow up.
• Enter program data accurately and securely after class.
• Perform other duties as needed at the YMCA.
