Qualifications

Experience improving real-world browser performance in Chromium-based browsers.
Strong proficiency in C++ and modern C++ performance best practices.
Deep understanding of browser internals (rendering, JS engines, IPC).
Proven use of low-level profiling/tracing tools to drive optimizations.
Ability to reason from microarchitectural behavior to user-perceived performance.

Responsibilities

Profile and optimize performance across Chromium subsystems (Blink, V8, Skia).
Identify CPU, memory, GPU, power bottlenecks using real workloads and benchmarks.
Implement performance improvements in rendering, JS execution, graphics, and browser responsiveness.
Drive optimizations across Windows; Linux/macOS a plus, with OS interaction awareness.
Collaborate with browser vendors, OS teams, compilers, and hardware partners.
