You will collaborate across Chrome Security, other Google teams, and feature owners to design, review, and ship secure software while improving reliability and performance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of C++ software development experience.
• 2 years building software for Web Privacy or security.
• Master’s degree or PhD in CS or related field.
• 2 years of data structures and algorithms experience.
• Experience with network security solutions.
• Experience building for the web, Chromium browser development.
• Familiarity with TLS and related technologies.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate closely with other teams, in Chrome Security, Chrome more broadly, and other teams at Google.
• Manage and prioritize assigned tasks and projects, ensuring the timely delivery with minimal guidance.
• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve the safety, reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the code we own.
• Participate in security launch reviews, as well as the Chrome Security Shepherding rotation or an equivalent rotation.
• Design and implement features, metrics, and tools to make Chrome more secure while also participating in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
