Qualifications

  • Experience with troubleshooting chromatography equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to client sites to perform on-site service.
  • Conduct repairs, installations, maintenance, and training on company instruments.
  • Act as a specialist for all chromatography instruments.

Skills

Experience with chromatography (HPLC, GC or IC)

This is a permanent, full-time and direct placement position at our client company. The employer is a stable and historic manufacturer of scientific instruments used by chemists around the globe.

Do you have experience troubleshooting chromatography equipment? Do you enjoy engaging with others? In this role, you get to travel to a diverse group of labs, fabs and plants; meet different people, and see various instrument applications at work.

Overview

This position will allow you to apply your laboratory instrument/chemistry knowledge and technical experience to solve customers’ instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system performance.

Ideal Location: Home office-based in Central Ohio with regional travel via a company vehicle.

In This Role You Will
  • Travel to client sites in the area to perform on-site service
  • Perform simple-to-complex repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, certification, refresher training, and more on company instruments
  • Act as a specialist for all chromatography instruments used in all applications, including lab and process analytical
Ideal Skills/Knowledge
  • BA/BS in chemistry or related STEM studies.
  • 2 + years experience working hands-on with analytical instruments or process equipment
  • Experience with chromatography (HPLC, GC or IC)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to travel regionally (approx. 50%)
