Job summary

The Salvation Army in Pasadena, TX is seeking a dependable driver to operate non-DOT vans and trucks for holiday donation programs. You will transport bell ringers, gifts, and donations to and from corps locations, malls, and drive-thru events, while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety.

Required is a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of driving experience with a valid Texas driver's license. Outdoor work and variable weather are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Drive vans or trucks (Non-DOT) to locations for Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree and Kettle programs.
• Transport bell ringers to kettle sites and return to designated locations.
• Schedule and coordinate pickups of gifts to the Christmas warehouse or Corps.
• Transport gifts, stockings, and other donations to designated sites.
• Move items to drive-thru or drop-off events at malls or other locations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle inside and out.

This position is responsible for:Drives vans or trucks (Non-DOT) to assigned locations for Corps/Area Command Christmas Angel Tree program donations and gifts and/or Christmas Kettle program transportation of bell ringers to designated worksites; ensures the safety, security and accountability of the vehicle and donations at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesThis job description should not be considered as all-inclusive.
