Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a reliable Christmas driver to deliver and pick up bell ringers and kettles across assigned locations in Ann Arbor, MI. This seasonal role supports the holiday fundraising effort and may assist with other driving tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, accurate mileage logs, and timely communication with a supervisor. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, age 18+, and a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred) or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• At least 18 years old.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a chauffeur's endorsement and pass The Salvation Army MVR check.
• Complete Safe From Harm training and keep current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned route
• Maintain vehicle(s), ensuring it is cleaned and prepared for next use
• Keep accurate maintenance and mileage logs, report safety or maintenance needs for the vehicle
• Communicate any problems to supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Keep accurate maintenance and mileage logs, report any safety or maintenance needs for the vehicle
• Communicate any problems to supervisor

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred), or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• At least 18 years old

Certificates And Licenses

• Must have and maintain a valid drivers’ license with a chauffeur’s endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle (MVR) check
