CentrePointe Counseling, Inc. seeks licensed mental health professionals in Maryland to join as Resident W-2 Counselors across 20+ offices in MD/DC and via telehealth.

These roles are commission-based with opportunities to build full- or part-time caseloads. A nonprofit with a Christian focus, we offer supervision, group sessions, and community outreach while maintaining EHR, scheduling, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work from an accredited program.
• Maryland licensure (LCPC, LGPC, LCSW-C, LMSW, or LCMFT) required.
• Ability to practice Christian-centered counseling within clinical standards.
• W-2 employee status with commission-based compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling in your expertise areas.
• Maintain a minimum of 15 client hours per week; plus administrative tasks.
• Self-start, work independently, and collaborate with the staff team.
• Attend supervision with supervisor/peers and participate in staff meetings.
• Advertise and build relationships in the community.
• Maintain EHRs, scheduling, and credentialing support.

CentrePointe Counseling is growing! We are currently seeking mental health professionals licensed in Maryland (LCPCs, LGPCs, LCSW-Cs, LMSWs, LCMFTs) who are interested in working as Resident W-2 Counselors at one of our 20+ offices throughout Maryland and DC, as well as by telehealth. All available positions are commission-based with opportunities to build full or part-time caseloads. We are a non-profit organization, whose 20+ counselors work to provide quality, affordable counseling to all, including those in need. Counselors also have opportunities to speak at workshops/seminars, and to provide group sessions.

• Job Skills needed:Provide individual and family counseling services in your area(s) of expertise.
• Work a minimum of 15 client hours per week, plus approximately 5 additional hours/week of note-taking, administration and supervision and once a month staff meeting.
• Effectively integrate Christian/Pastoral Counseling into clinical interventions
• Possess skills to self-start and work independently
• Receive supervision from supervisor/peers and collaborate with skilled staff team.
• Perform administrative tasks: maintaining electronic health record, scheduling, and accepting calls from potential clients.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills for interactions with clients, churches and communities, and referral sources.
• Independently advertise and build relationships in the community.
• Maintain current knowledge on ethics/laws and current license for the State of Maryland, and optionally (and additionally) for DC or Virginia, as a LCPC, LGPC, LCSW-C, LMSW, LCMFT.
