Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles is seeking therapists to provide individual, group, and family therapy with a flexible remote setup and Telehealth options. You will maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions weekly, participate in team meetings, and receive supervision by MD state-licensed LCPC and LCSW-C.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited college/university.
• Must be a licensed mental health professional in Maryland.
• Experience with completing DA’s, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation.
• Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions per week.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with the team to fill gaps in the community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients reach goals.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, and school staff as needed.

Please note this is a fee for service position with base salaryThis position is flexible remote...meaning some in person and some through Telehealth.We have immediate openings for LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC therapists:

• Start within a week, pending background check
• Offer guaranteed pay for the initial 8 weeks as you ramp your caseload
• Active patient waiting list waiting to be assigned to therapist

Responsibilities And Duties

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
• Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions per week
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training
• Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in social work or one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Required to be a licensed mental health professional in the state of Maryland.
• Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Prefer candidates with creative and innovative approaches to mental health
• Prefer experience with children, adolescents, and teens
• Preferred experience with couples and families
• Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing
