Job summary

Mentoring Alliance seeks Christian Youth Workers for its after-school program. The role emphasizes youth development, positive enrichment activities, and serving as a gospel-focused role model in the community. The position is part-time (17–20 hours/week) and non-exempt.

The candidate must be 17+, have a HS diploma/GED preferred, and be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification, pass a background check, and have reliable transportation.Spanish-speaking abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old; High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Legally allowed to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities in after-school setting
• Foster youth development and serve as a role model
• Work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Support mentoring and safe, positive program environment
