Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA is required to be obtained by each teacher.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred; required within a designated period of employment if not currently certified.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; ECE coursework preferred.
• Previous experience working with infants and young children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Nursery Teacher in providing loving, attentive care for infants and young children.
• Maintain active supervision of children at all times and follow staff-to-child ratios.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment.
• Assist with feeding, diaper changes, naps, and other daily care activities.
• Communicate with parents as directed by the Nursery Teacher or Nursery Team Lead.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
