Meadowview Baptist Church is seeking a Children’s Ministry Coordinator to lead birth through fifth grade ministry, partnering with parents, training volunteers, and maintaining a safe, Christ-centered environment.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with 2+ years working with children, or 4 years’ equivalent, plus a commitment to church membership and background screening. It is a salaried, 30+ hour/week position with Sunday and Wednesday duties.

Qualifications

• Be a born-again believer with growing relationship with Christ.
• Hold beliefs consistent with Meadowview Baptist Church’s doctrine.
• Bachelor's degree and at least two years' experience with children (or four years’ equivalent).
• Willing to become an active, faithful member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
• Successfully complete background and child-safety screening.
• Strong organizational, administrative, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Christ-centered children’s ministry for birth through fifth grade.
• Partner with parents to disciple children and support families.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers; maintain volunteer systems.
• Oversee nursery, preschool, and elementary ministry areas.
• Plan annual ministry goals, budget, and calendar; supervise summer programs and events.
• Ensure safe, age-appropriate environments and compliance with safety policies.
