Job summary

UW-Superior is seeking a Campus Support I - Choral Librarian to assist with maintaining the choral library, sorting and re-shelving music, and helping prepare parts for rehearsals and concerts. The role supports the Choral Director and helps with Chorfest logistics.

The position is student-level, involves occasional event setup, and requires the ability to pass a background check; we welcome detail-oriented applicants who can work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Background check required by UW; final candidates subject to criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Sort and re-shelve music used by UWS Choirs.
• Clean and maintain choral library facility.
• Stamp and catalog new music before filing.
• Assist Choral Director with preparing parts/scores to be used by the UWS Choirs.
• Maintain records of parts/folders distributed.
• Assist in set-up and tear down for weekly rehearsals and concerts.
• Assist with Chorfest: music preparation, assist supervisor with other assigned tasks.
