CHOOSE 180 seeks a Choose Freedom Coordinator to support youth impacted by incarceration and gun violence. You will build relationships with youth both during incarceration and after release, helping them access resources and stay engaged with the program.
Role requires trauma-informed case management, outreach to community organizations, and collaboration across CHOOSE 180 programs. You must be able to travel between King and Pierce County to support participants and facilitate groups.

The Choose Freedom Coordinator purpose is to support youth impacted by incarceration and/or gun violence. Our community navigators build relationships with youth while they are incarcerated and continue to support them upon release or work with youth who are at risk of being actively involved within gun, gang, or community violence. The mission of CHOOSE Freedom is to help young people to see their potential and to understand their power without violence.
This position is required to work some weekend days as well as attend after-hours events, and to be available for consultation when needed. In addition, this position may be called upon and must be capable of compassionate de-escalation and crisis intervention involving youth and/or family members working through trauma.
CHOOSE 180 is committed to providing employees with a living wage and competitive benefits package. The hourly rate for this position is $33.66 per hour ($70,000 annually).
