Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Basic Computer Skills (windows-based software).
• Basic written and effective communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical skills as it relates to machinery, and ability to troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of Total Productive Management concepts including Autonomous Management, Preventative Maintenance & Safety; perform basic machine inspections, lubrication and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Set up assigned machines to meet daily production goals.
• Coordinate product changeovers to maximize line efficiencies.
• Monitor machine and material flow to ensure product quality and production standards.
• Participate in problem-solving activities (e.g., 5 Why analysis) to minimize downtime.
• Assist with simple preventative maintenance tasks on machinery.
• Maintain and document machine logs and downtime reasons.
• Attend daily/weekly meetings to discuss productivity and safety issues.
