Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli USA is seeking a Manufacturing Operator responsible for daily setup and operation of manufacturing machines, ensuring safety and quality standards are met and production goals are achieved.

You will coordinate changeovers, monitor processes, perform basic maintenance, and participate in 5 Why analyses, with emphasis on clean, organized work areas and adherence to 5S and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong operating knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Basic written and effective communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (windows-based software).
• Understanding of Total Productive Management (TPM) and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up assigned machine(s) to meet daily production goals.
• Coordinate product changeovers to maximize line efficiencies.
• Monitor machine and material flow to ensure quality and production standards; report issues promptly.
• Perform simple preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and keep accurate machine logs.
