Job summary

KIK Consumer Products seeks a seasoned leader to head chlorine unloading and storage operations. You will oversee safe offloading from railcars and tankers, enforce strict PPE and regulatory compliance, and drive daily tank farm activities with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Role requires 5+ years in people leadership and 3+ years in chemical operations, with chlorine experience preferred. Will lead a team, coordinate with safety, maintenance, and logistics, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a people leader coaching for performance and safety.
• 3+ years hands-on chemical operations in tank farms, chemical manufacturing, or hazmat handling.
• Experience with PSM/RMP, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
• Direct chlorine experience strongly preferred or with other highly hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Safely offload chlorine from railcars, tankers, and related delivery systems.
• Ensure full OSHA/EPA/DHS compliance, including PSM and RMP; enforce PPE.
• Oversee daily tank farm operations: storage, transfers, and inventory reconciliation.
• Lead first-response for chlorine events: leaks, alarms, evacuations.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for tanks, piping, valves, scrubbers, monitors.
• Accurately complete logs, manifests, inspections, and compliance docs.
• Train, coach, and qualify operators; reinforce safety culture.
• Support batching, transfers, and daily tasks while leading the team.
• Drive continuous improvement to elevate safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, EHS, and Logistics; oversee contractors.
