Job summary

Nouryon in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a Production Manager to lead chlorate plant operations and drive safe, cost-efficient production. This permanent onsite role reports to the Site Plant Manager and offers a competitive salary with annual bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

You will form objectives, manage budgets, control costs, coordinate with Nouryon tech teams, train staff and ensure environmental and safety standards are met at the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Must be able to access any area of the facility and work in an industrial setting with outside weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Formulates, recommends, and implements objectives for the chlorate unit.
• Participates in preparing budgets for assigned areas.
• Controls operating costs.
• Directs working relationship with Nouryon global technology organization to improve benchmarking and operations.
• Implements personnel training and qualifies personnel on operating techniques.
• Prepares and completes AOP Objectives for site.
• Any and all jobs assigned.
