Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic in Monrovia is seeking licensed chiropractors to join our movement. As one of our doctors, you’ll receive strong support with marketing, insurance handling, and administrative tasks, so you can focus on patient care.

We offer part-time and full-day options, a pay range of $38–$45 per hour depending on experience, and bonus potential. Bi-lingual (Spanish) abilities are preferred to serve a diverse patient base.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NBCE.
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state.
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays when indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and the spine to determine conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations to correct the musculoskeletal system where necessary.
• Educate patients on quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a treatment plan.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients and record medical histories as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary and analyze them to locate sources of difficulty.
• Patient care and education, maintaining accurate and timely patient records, and sales of membership packages.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college

Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college

Passing NBCE Parts I, II, III, and IV

NBCE SPEC exam acceptable alternative for Part IV

Valid DC license in the applicable state

Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance
