Role Description

The Chiropractic Therapy Assistant role is a part-time, on-site position based in Miami Beach, FL. This role supports the chiropractor and care team by preparing treatment areas, assisting with therapeutic modalities, and guiding patients through prescribed exercises and rehabilitation activities. Daily responsibilities include greeting and educating patients, documenting services and progress, maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment, and coordinating patient flow to ensure efficient appointment scheduling. The assistant also helps with basic administrative tasks, such as updating patient records, verifying forms, and communicating with patients regarding follow-up visits and home care instructions.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear patient interaction and professional collaboration with clinical staff.
• Professional, polite, trustworthy, energetic, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Demonstrated Patient Care skills, with a focus on empathy, safety, and comfort during treatments.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or certification in chiropractic assisting, sports medicine, therapy assisting, or a related field is not required.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols, manage multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, hands-on healthcare environment.
• Basic computer literacy for electronic health records and scheduling systems.
• Foundational knowledge or experience in Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy principles relevant to musculoskeletal care.
• Experience or training in Rehabilitation, including therapeutic exercises and functional recovery support.
• Prior experience in a chiropractic, physical therapy, sports medicine, or outpatient rehab setting is preferred but not a requirement. We are happy to train the right candidate
