Responsibilities
- Assist doctors with patient care, including physical therapy modalities and rehab exercises.
- Perform various administrative, marketing, and sales tasks as assigned.
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Perform physical therapy modalities under the direction of the doctor.
- Teach and monitor patients performing rehab exercises, and teach home exercises.
- Accurate and efficient data entry of billings and charges.
- Work with the front desk staff to optimize patient satisfaction.
- Disinfect and maintain treatment rooms and equipment.
- Front desk responsibilities: answering phones, taking messages, confirming appointments, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Collect and complete clinical research forms with patient data.
- Regularly communicate with patients, doctors, and other referral sources while working in a clinical environment, including direct patient care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent degree.
- Previous experience preferred, but not required.
- Preferred backgrounds (not required) include: medical assistants, CNAs, chiropractic assistants, physical therapy techs, rehab aides, athletic trainers, and any other patient care or medical office professionals interested in making a difference in patients’ lives.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
