Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with patient care, including physical therapy modalities and rehab exercises.
• Perform various administrative, marketing, and sales tasks as assigned.
• Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Perform physical therapy modalities under the direction of the doctor.
• Teach and monitor patients performing rehab exercises, and teach home exercises.
• Accurate and efficient data entry of billings and charges.
• Work with the front desk staff to optimize patient satisfaction.
• Disinfect and maintain treatment rooms and equipment.
• Front desk responsibilities: answering phones, taking messages, confirming appointments, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Collect and complete clinical research forms with patient data.
• Regularly communicate with patients, doctors, and other referral sources while working in a clinical environment, including direct patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
• Preferred backgrounds (not required) include: medical assistants, CNAs, chiropractic assistants, physical therapy techs, rehab aides, athletic trainers, and any other patient care or medical office professionals interested in making a difference in patients’ lives.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
