Qualifications

• Current Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic college and active, unrestricted chiropractic license in California.
• Strong clinical skills in patient examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of safe, effective chiropractic adjustments.
• Gonstead technique experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to educate patients on wellness, injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications in clear, accessible language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, respectful, and culturally sensitive patient care.
• Solid documentation and organizational abilities, including accurate charting, record-keeping, and time management in a busy clinical setting.
• Willingness to participate in practice growth initiatives, including community events and patient outreach.
• Openness to learning new systems and following clinic procedures.
• Previous experience in a chiropractic, integrative, or musculoskeletal-focused setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Job description

Southridge Chiropractic is a solo doctor family practice established in 1991. It is a subluxation-based practice utilizing the specific chiropractic adjustment as the primary treatment modality, supported by in-house massage therapy and any recommended home-therapies/exercises. It was founded and is run by Dr. Rick, who is in his 40th year of practice. Dr. Rick currently works three days per week and is seeking a committed associate to help build his/her own practice on the other available days. As your practice grows, there is a general plan for Dr. Rick to further reduce his work days and for you to possibly take over the daily running of the practice, eventually assuming ownership upon his retirement. For the right person this is a pathway to build and own your own practice without going into further debt. As a result, your income would be based upon your collections rather than a salary, with your overhead never being greater than shared common costs with Dr. Rick.
