Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center (GSRC) is a multi-disciplinary practice with over 25 years of experience. Our services include chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, and psychotherapy across five locations in southeastern Florida. Our mission is “To provide the most courteous and effective care and increase the well-being of every person who walks through our door.” We are seeking a full-time Therapy Aide to support our chiropractors and manage patient flow.

Purpose:

To support chiropractors and manage patient flow effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to HIPAA laws regarding the sharing of personal medical information.
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area; disinfect equipment after treatments.
3. Assist patients with exercises or functional activities under the supervision of a chiropractor or physical therapist.
4. Administer therapeutic exercises, massages, or modalities such as ultrasound, heat, light, sound, or water treatments.
5. Perform clerical duties including documenting notes, answering phones, taking messages, and filling out forms.
6. Record basic diagnostic information such as blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height for the doctor’s review.
7. Distribute educational materials as instructed by healthcare professionals.
8. Manage the waiting room, attend to patient needs, and ensure timely operations.
9. Handle email correspondence and maintain organized patient files.
10. Be open to cross-training in other areas of the company.
11. Attend monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings and events.
12. Be willing to travel within South Florida for training, with gas reimbursement.

The above responsibilities may include additional tasks necessary for the efficient operation of GSRC.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of effective communication with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with computers, printers, scanners, fax machines, and copiers.
• Strong team contribution skills.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective time management skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health.

Compensation:

$15 - $17 per hour.
