Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Therapy Aide to support our chiropractors and manage patient flow.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to HIPAA laws regarding the sharing of personal medical information.
• Clean, organize, and disinfect the work area and equipment after treatments.
• Assist patients with exercises or activities under the supervision of a chiropractor or physical therapist.
• Administer manual therapeutic exercises, massage, or modalities such as ultrasound, heat, or electrical treatments.
• Perform clerical duties including documentation, answering calls, and managing forms.
• Record basic diagnostic information like blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height for use in examinations and treatments.
• Distribute educational materials to patients as instructed.
• Manage the waiting area, attend to patient needs, and ensure timely operations.
• Handle email correspondence and maintain organized patient files.
• Be open to cross-training in other areas of the practice.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings and events.
• Travel within South Florida for training with gas reimbursement.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Proficiency with computers and office equipment such as printers, fax, scanner, and copier.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good time management skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health.

Compensation:

$15 - $17 per hour.
