Knife River is looking for dependable Chipseal Laborers to join our team!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform assigned tasks on chipseal crew as directed. This may include various equipment operations and laboring.
- Demonstrate the ability to safely and productively perform duties as assigned.
- Communicate and listen effectively.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel.
- Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including: standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Has general knowledge of construction work.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work day shifts and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be willing to travel if job requires.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
