Job summary

PCI Government Services LLC in Washington, DC, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support CHIPS Act programs for NIST. The role focuses on administering financial support agreements, evaluating applications, and providing program-wide financial insights.

The team supports CHIPS incentives and R&D programs with strict deadlines, offering hybrid work in the DC area and opportunities for remote work where feasible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business.
• 4–7 years of Financial Analyst or Business Analyst experience.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and accounting expertise.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial completion scans of company applications reviewing both operational and financial data.
• Analyze company applications financial reports to ensure comprehensive and thorough submissions.
• Confirm if assumptions made by the applicant are reasonable.
• Evaluate the financial aspects of assigned applications and incentive requests.
• Provide a detailed understanding of project economics from the perspectives of all stakeholders.
• Assist in day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring smooth execution of various processes.
• Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry and record-keeping.
• Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of operational processes and procedures, and protocol interactions.
