Job summary

Canterbury Park in Minnesota is hiring part-time staff to deliver exceptional customer service while facilitating the sale of chips to guests at the gaming tables and carts. You will be responsible for accurate transactions and maintaining the balance of the chip bank throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass Canterbury Park’s pre-employment screening including a background check.
• Must attain a Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable, trustworthy and pleasant personality.
• Prior money handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example.
• Maintain a high degree of hospitality and a positive, professional demeanor.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration.
• Handle chip denomination requests and deliver chips to players at gaming tables.
• Keep track of chip inventory and ensure accuracy.
• Perform table fills to maintain proper chip inventory.
• Deliver set-ups to tables as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain Master Table Logs (MTL) and communicate relevant information to shift management.
• Count and balance the chip bank and cart at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
