Shine BrightX LLC in Mountain View, CA is seeking a part-time software engineer to help build and ship essential EDA tools using Python and C++. You will work in-person in Mountain View and contribute to high-impact projects with the founding team.

The ideal candidate will write high-quality code, bring basic VLSI knowledge from coursework, and thrive in a data-driven, principled environment while collaborating with tooling partners.

Qualifications

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Available for 15-40 hours per week in-person at the Mountain View, CA office
• Skilled at writing and shipping high-quality code quickly in Python and C++
• Possess basic VLSI experience through coursework or projects
• Adaptive, data-driven, and able to work from first principles
• Resourceful, self-starting, and committed to quality work
• Enjoy working in-person and able to come to the office multiple times a week
