Job description

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to new product innovations that set AWS’s services apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers requiring specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Annapurna Labs, part of AWS, is seeking an experienced engineer to develop our cutting-edge semiconductor platform. You’ll join a top-tier, agile, fast-paced team, contributing to the technology powering the world’s largest cloud provider.

Amazon Web Services offers a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost cloud platform enabling hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries. We are looking for talented individuals to join the Chip Design team in TLV, working on the Nitro product line: https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/nitro/.

Take an active role in developing the next generation of products that will position AWS as a leader in the cloud sector.

Key job responsibilities

1. Full ownership of one or more IPs within the product, including:

• Micro-architecture
• RTL coding and debugging
• Synthesis and timing closure
• Sign-off

Supporting Verification and Emulation teams: test plan development, coverage review

Ensuring chip quality and reliability standards are met

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Definition, Verification, Software, and Physical Design

Minimum qualifications include:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Chip Design
• Experience with data paths
• Experience with large-scale IPs (millions of gates)
• Experience across the full design cycle: RTL, Verification, Synthesis, Timing Closure, CDC, Lint
• Experience with Networking layers
