We are currently seeking Chinese-Mandarin Operational Language Analysts (OLA III) to support critical intelligence missions at Fort Meade, Maryland. This senior-level position is designed for highly experienced cryptologic linguists with advanced Mandarin language proficiency who possess extensive experience in language exploitation, intelligence reporting, quality control, and mentoring.
The Chinese-Mandarin Operational Language Analyst (OLA III) provides advanced cryptologic language processing, quality assurance, and analytical support to national security missions. The analyst performs complex language exploitation, develops intelligence reporting, mentors junior linguists, and ensures the highest standards of translation quality and mission execution.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph.
Minimum Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Level 3 proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (Audio or Graphic).
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of full-time qualifying experience, or 14 years of full-time qualifying experience in lieu of a degree.
Minimum 10 years of experience in cryptologic language processing, related language disciplines, and/or cryptologic intelligence operations.
Advanced proficiency in Mandarin Chinese language exploitation and cryptologic language processing.
Extensive experience producing high-quality translations, transcriptions, gists, and intelligence reports.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently perform complex analytical tasks with minimal supervision.
Experience mentoring, coaching, and conducting quality assurance reviews for other linguists.
Ability to maintain accuracy while working under operational deadlines in classified environments.
Experience supporting the National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community (IC).
Experience leading language teams, mentoring junior linguists, and conducting quality assurance reviews.
Experience supporting target development, network analysis, and operational intelligence missions.
Strong understanding of cryptologic language processing methodologies and Intelligence Community reporting standards.
Experience working in high-tempo operational environments supporting national security missions.
