Job summary

Group14 is seeking a highly resilient Program Manager (China Market Focus) to lead qualification programs and day-to-day customer alignment with major Chinese battery cell manufacturers and OEMs. You will bridge Group14’s R&D, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure programs are executed on time, on budget, and to spec.

You will coordinate with internal teams, manage complex schedules, and travel internationally to customer sites and facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total professional experience in customer communication, technical, engineering, or project/program management environments.
• 3+ years of direct experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Technical Account Management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and customers in a high-paced, technical setting.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of qualification programs targeting major Chinese battery manufacturers and OEMs, driving cross-functional accountability from sampling gates to scale-up.
• Act as the primary technical and operational interface for Chinese accounts, ensuring continuous, proactive communication to build long-term trust across technical and program management teams.
• Facilitate discussions on technical specifications, testing protocols, sample delivery timelines, and program milestones to align with internal capacities.
• Swiftly assess bottlenecks, quality deviations, or delays; communicate risk mitigations clearly to leadership and customers.
• Partner with internal R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance teams to mobilize resources and meet APQP/PPAP requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and host onsite technical reviews, factory audits, and executive visits in China and at global facilities.
