Lords Chimney in Houston seeks a full-time Chimney Technician to perform hands-on chimney maintenance and repair, tackling physical work to keep homes safe and efficient. You’ll climb ladders, inspect fireplaces and vents, and deliver quality craftsmanship each day.

Responsibilities

• Tackle chimney maintenance and repair tasks; climb ladders and inspect vents with precision
• Sweep chimneys, repair crowns, repoint bricks, install chase covers
• Work in various weather and on rooftops; perform physically demanding, technical tasks
• Ensure safety and efficiency of chimneys and fireplaces for homes

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A CHIMNEY TECHNICIAN

Every day, you face the elements head-on, tackling the tough but essential work of chimney maintenance. You climb ladders, scale rooftops, and inspect fireplaces and dryer vents with precision and care. Whether it's sweeping chimneys, repairing crowns, repointing bricks, or installing chase covers, your craftsmanship keeps homes safe and efficient. Some days, you're battling the heat on rooftops; other days, you're troubleshooting complex repairs. This job is not easy, it's physically demanding, technical, and requires serious skill.

Lords Chimney has received a number of notable distinctions and has been keeping fireplaces and dryer vents of the greater Houston area clean and efficient for the last decade. We train our team members extensively and continuously add to their knowledge through industry leaders like the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NSCG) and the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA).
