Lords Chimney is seeking a full-time Chimney Service Technician to join our hands-on team. You’ll scale ladders, work on rooftops, inspect and sweep chimneys, fireplaces, and dryer vents, and perform repairs with care and safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Construction experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sweep chimneys, fireplaces, and dryer vents.
• Perform chimney repairs, repointing/tuckpointing, install caps and chase covers.
• Reinforce flashing to prevent leaks; conduct safety checks.
• Work on rooftops and in variable weather; physically demanding tasks.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Chimney Service Technician, you push yourself to the limit. You start by gearing up, knowing that you'll be scaling ladders, navigating steep rooftops, and working in unpredictable weather conditions. Chimney maintenance is no small task; you'll be inspecting and sweeping chimneys, fireplaces, and dryer vents, ensuring they are safe and functioning properly. Your work also includes chimney repairs, repointing/tuckpointing, installing chimney caps and chase covers, and reinforcing flashing to prevent leaks. This job requires endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. It's hard work, but at the end of the day, you take pride in knowing your skills help protect homes and families.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A CHIMNEY SERVICE TECHNICIAN
