Job summary

Lords Chimney is seeking a full-time Apprentice Chimney Technician in Texas. You will unload materials, set up equipment, and work with an experienced technician on rooftops to assist with chimney repairs and fireplace installations.

This physically demanding position requires lifting, climbing, and working in challenging conditions, with paid on-the-job training and opportunities for growth within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Punctuality.
• Ability to follow directions of the lead technician.
• Ability to lift 80+ lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders to access and work on roofs of all pitches and heights.
• Ability to safely setup and work job sites.
• Possessing a medical card is a plus.
• Construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and set up equipment to ensure a safe worksite.
• Assist experienced technician; climb onto rooftops and work in weather conditions.
• Help with chimney repairs and fireplace installations; lift and move heavy materials.
• Maintain focus and safety while working high above ground.
