Job summary

A Merrie Sweepe, an Endura Services company, is hiring a Sales Representative to cover Greenland, Portsmouth and the New Hampshire Seacoast. You will visit homeowners, inspect chimney and fireplace systems, explain findings, and build the estimate for the work.

This field role keeps you out of the office and in a different home most of the day. We provide the vehicle and train you on the trade. Full-time hours and growth opportunities await in a safety‑driven team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect chimneys, fireplaces, dryer vents and venting systems in customers' homes.

• Prepare and present written estimates for cleanings, repairs, installations and rebuilds.
• Close sales with a consultative approach.
• Follow up with customers and build relationships for referrals and repeat business.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, photos and estimates.

Chimney Sales Representative

$25.00 – $28.00 per hour | Full-time | Company vehicle provided for the day-to-day aspect of the job.

A Merrie Sweepe is hiring a Sales Representative to cover Greenland, Portsmouth and the New Hampshire Seacoast. This is a job for someone who likes working with people and working with their hands. You will visit homeowners, inspect their chimney and fireplace systems, explain what you find, and build the estimate for the work. It is a field role, so you are out of the office and in a different home most of the day. We provide the vehicle and we will train you on the trade.

What you will do

• Inspect chimneys, fireplaces, dryer vents and venting systems in customers' homes.
• Explain safety standards and maintenance needs to homeowners in plain language.
• Prepare and present written estimates for cleanings, repairs, installations and rebuilds.
• Close sales with a consultative approach. You are solving a safety problem, not pressuring anyone.
• Follow up with customers and build the relationships that lead to referrals and repeat business.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, photos and estimates.

What we are looking for

• Experience in sales, home services or a skilled trade.
• A strong communicator who builds trust quickly.
• Self-motivated and able to manage your own day in the field.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Comfortable working at heights and in customers' homes.

Helpful, but we will train you

• Chimney, HVAC, roofing or other home services background.
• Experience with in-home estimating or CRM software.

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders and access rooftops safely.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
