Job summary

Suburban Chimney Solutions is expanding and seeking a long-term chimney repair apprentice to join our team in the Twin Cities area. The role emphasizes safety, effective communication, and hands-on learning in masonry repair, crown installation, and chimney liner work.

No prior masonry experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided. Candidate must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be able to work at heights with a safety harness and hard hat.

Qualifications

• Must have good leadership skills and be willing to learn, teamwork, good communication and customer service skills.
• Must wear a safety harness on roof/scaffolding and a hard hat on ground for safety.
• High school or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Setup and climb ladders and/or staging to access the roof, safely set up scaffolding.
• Install chimney caps, liners, dampers, masonry repairs and rebuilds of chimney exterior/interior.
• Parge and repair smoke chambers; access interior of the damper area as needed.
• Keep trucks clean and tools organized daily.
