Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking dynamic, motivated HVAC service technicians to support chiller accounts and deliver technical field service. You will work from delivery to completion on repairs, maintenance, and customer quotes, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires extensive HVAC knowledge with 3+ years field experience, plus the ability to troubleshoot controls, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with the Field Supervisor on customer needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive HVAC large tonnage field knowledge with minimum 3 years service field experience.
• OEM Experience or Factory Training is a plus.
• Be able to perform routine chiller preventive maintenance services.
• Strong background performing centrifugal chiller overhaul services a plus!
• Troubleshooting of chiller control panels, routine mechanical and electrical for chillers.
• Extensive Safety knowledge and training with minimum 5 years field experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Some computer skills a plus.
• Ability to organize and plan daily responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support/service to HVAC / chiller accounts.
• Support the office with recommended repairs from delivery to completion.
• Ensure completion of maintenances within the scheduled month and allotted time.
• Attend monthly Safety/Team meetings that keep Service Technicians informed on policy and procedures, performance and goals of the company.
• Ensure compliance for safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all quotes provided to your customers are followed up on.
• Work directly with HVAC/Chiller Field Supervisor on new and existing customer opportunities or issues.
• Performs any other related duties as assigned by the HVAC Supervisor or other appropriate administrator.

Work Environment:

• May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness
• May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels
• May work in areas with exposure to fumes or airborne particles including dust
• May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights

Physical Demands:

• This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools
• While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus

Travel:

• May require travel (not overnight)

Preferred:

• Prior military experience a plus!
• HS diploma or GED equivalent
