Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Chiller Rehanger Labor for the Grannis, AR plant. The role involves removing birds from the belt and transferring them to a moving shackle line, where they are hung by the hock.

You will lift birds up to 15 lbs and hang them on shackles on a stationary platform, with repeated use of hands and arms in a hot, humid environment. The position is full-time on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with competitive pay and Tyson’s safety culture at the core.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs repetitively.
• Must be able to stand, reach, lift, pull (downward) for the shift.
• Ability to work in a hot, humid environment.
• Ability to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Remove birds off the belt and transfer to a moving shackle line.
• Hang birds by the hock on the shackle once transferred.
• Work from an elevated, stationary platform with repetitive hand/arm use.
