Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain centrifugal chillers (up to 2000 tons) and related equipment, ensuring compliance with ASME and NFPA standards.
2. Monitor and troubleshoot the chiller management system and associated cooling tower water treatment controllers.
3. Maintain logs, operate logs, and regulatory reports accurately.
4. Conduct daily inspections, respond to alarms, and initiate repairs as needed.
5. Sample, test, analyze, and adjust water chemistry to ensure system integrity.
6. Adhere to OSHA standards and all relevant federal regulations.
7. Complete preventative maintenance and work orders, documenting all activities.
8. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding system operations and issues.
9. Perform additional related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus three years of experience with industrial HVAC equipment.
• Graduation from an accredited HVAC technical school or equivalent experience.
• Universal refrigerant certification.
• At least one year of experience operating large chillers (500 tons and above), cooling towers, and related equipment.
• Valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and twisting.
• Work environment includes indoor, outdoor, and high-noise areas, sometimes under extreme weather conditions.
