The Dayton Metro Library is seeking a second full-time Children Services Librarian for the Main Library. The ideal candidate will team up with the other Children Services Librarian at this location to offer creative programming, including story times, for children in grades K-6 as well as outreach to local schools, day care centers, etc. This individual will be a customer-service minded person who is ready to help patrons use our largest urban location and its services. Our Main Library receives a large influx of teens after school during the week. All Youth Services team members assist with helping our teens make good choices while visiting our facility and using our resources. Join our team today!

Essential Job Duties
Compensation and Benefits: The starting hourly rate for this position is $23.25. (Those applicants with a relevant Master’s degree may qualify for the professional offset, which would increase the hourly rate by $3.00 per hour.) Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance along with paid time off and OPERS retirement.
