Job summary

Keys Group is seeking Residential Support Workers to join their Children’s Home in Stone. You will work with children aged 8–18 who have emotional and behavioural challenges, providing a safe, caring environment and supporting daily routines.

Children's Support Worker - Stone (ST15)

JOB ROLE:Support Worker - Children's Residential

SALARY: £13.45 - £14.15* per hour + up to £6000 sleep-in allowance.

HOURS:39 per week working shifts 2 on, 4 off.

REQUIREMENTS:Full UK Driving License - essential.

About Us:

Our Children’s Home in Stone is looking for a number of Residential Support Workers to join their team and be part of something special.

With help from your manager and a team of passionate Support Workers you will be working alongside children and young people in residential settings who need a kind, caring and fun place to live despite the challenges they may bring.

Our young people are between 8-18 years old who display emotional, behavioural difficulties. This is why we are looking for motivated, determined and resilient staff who are flexible and able to adapt to challenging situations.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children and young people with their emotional, physical, and social needs
  • Accompanying them to appointments, school, and fun activities
  • Delivering personal care and helping with daily routines
  • Supporting with household tasks and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
  • Completing accurate, clear documentation and reports
  • Always promoting their wellbeing and safeguarding them
