Job summary

Homes2Inspire is recruiting a Residential Youth Support Worker to join a caring team in a residential setting. You will support young people who have experienced trauma, helping them with daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and education in a supportive environment.

No prior care experience is required; full training and a funded Level 3 qualification are provided to help you grow a meaningful career in residential childcare.

Residential Youth Support Worker – A Career Built on Compassion

Location: Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Salary: Up to £28,650.00 per annum + £46.01 per sleep-in

Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts including earlies, lates, doubles, and sleep-ins

As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a vital part of a team supporting young people who have experienced trauma. Your role will be dynamic, challenging, and deeply rewarding. You’ll be responsible for:

About Lantern house

Lantern house is a warm and welcoming 2‑beded residential home located in Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield. The home is situated between the quiet area of Skegby and the busy, social Sutton in Ashfield which has a main street. We are close to the Designer village and have easy access to both the A38 and M1. There are plenty of things to do in the area and many opportunities for days out.

Currently, Lantern house is home to two young residents, each with their own distinct personalities. One enjoys gaming and having their own space, the other loves to go out and keep busy. The home has a nurturing atmosphere, with a strong focus on giving our young people childhood experiences, opportunities for the future, and building strong positive relationships.
