Jonesboro First UMC in Jonesboro, GA seeks a Director of Children’s Ministry to oversee all aspects of the children’s ministry and ensure a safe, engaging program. The role includes recruiting and training leaders, teaching God’s Word, and fostering fellowship among families and children.

The ideal candidate embraces United Methodist doctrine, has strong communication and leadership skills, and is committed to spiritual guidance and pastoral care for children within the church community.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must possess conflict management skills and computer skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired.

Responsabilités

• Cast the vision for and advocate for the Children’s Ministry.
• Coordinate church programs with the overall mission and purpose.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the children’s ministry.
• Recruit and train volunteers and maintain adult to child ratios.
• Implement and maintain the Safe Sanctuary policy.
• Keep records of participation and manage the budget.
