At Devereux, as a Direct Care Professional, you will have the opportunity to work with children ages 8-21 with IDD/BH/MH diagnoses and will impact the individuals you work with by unlocking their full potential daily.
Every day as a Direct Care Professional, you will:

Available Shifts: 7am-3pm | 2pm-10pm | 10pm-8am
Schedule: One scheduled day off during the week + every other weekend | weekends | PRN: on call/as needed
Compensation: $17.75-$23.05/hr (based on experience and education)
Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern, PA, services include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), residential treatment (RTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, employment and social skills training, and private school educational services for children and adolescents (6-21 years) with various diagnoses.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Sociology, or Social Work is required. Education evaluation required if acquired outside the U.S.
Experience: Prior experience working with children in behavioral health preferred.
Devereux maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and fosters a culture of reporting abuse, cooperating fully with authorities.
