Job summary

Assistance Plus is seeking a Children’s Case Manager to provide professional case management for eligible clients in Rumford, ME. The role includes advocating for children and coordinating required services within an interdisciplinary team.

You will work flexible hours and may travel within the service area to meet client needs. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with a master’s degree or related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution with specialization in psychology, mental health and human services, behavioral health, behavioral sciences, social work, human development, or closely related field; or a Bachelor's in an unrelated field with at least one year of full-time equivalent relevant human services experience; or a Master's degree in social work, education, psychology, counseling, nursing, or closely related field.
• One year of relevant life/work experience working with children with a Serious Emotional Disturbance is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Intermediate level computer skills

Responsibilities

• Provide professional case management service to eligible clients.
• Act as an advocate for clients when securing services and coordinate all services needed for clients.
• Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team and with children and adolescents.
• Travel within the designated area and maintain flexible hours to meet client demand.
