Job summary

La Petite Academy in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Team Lead to supervise classroom activities, implement curriculum, and promote holistic child development. You will guide teachers, mentor new hires, and communicate closely with families to support each center’s success.

The role requires leading a classroom, applying lesson plans, and ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines while maintaining a positive, engaging learning environment. This is a full-time on-site position at our center.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility and leading a classroom.
• Ability to implement lesson plans and curriculum.
• Strong communication with families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation (50%+ of weekly schedule).
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow teachers.
• Handle opening/closing duties in director/assistant director absence.
• Ensure daily care following licensing guidelines and company standards.
