Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking a Teaching Assistant for its year-round Childcare Center. You will support infants to preschoolers, follow the daily curriculum, and assist with meals and transitions while keeping a safe, engaging environment.

You will work with a Teacher Associate and Childcare Manager, participate in training, and help maintain a clean facility. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 credit college course in Psychology, Sociology, or Early Education related field.
• 1 year of working experience in a childcare center.
• Must be 18 years of age and have First Aid & CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Interact with children to engage activities while ensuring safety.
• Follow Classroom curriculum and assist Teacher Associate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Communicate with families about children's daily experiences.
• Attend staff meetings and complete required professional development.
