New Horizon Academy Iowa, Inc. in West Des Moines is seeking energetic, nurturing teachers to join our growing early childhood team.

You will inspire young learners, contribute to a positive classroom environment, and collaborate with a caring staff to deliver high-quality care and education. The wage range for this role is $16.10-$21.35 per hour, dependent on experience and education; must be available to work any shift between 6:30am and 6:00pm.

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has a passion for working with young children.
• Has interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Has the documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
