Job summary

INK is seeking an entry-level childcare support staff member to assist in classrooms and centers. You will help supervise children, ensure safety, and support teachers with daily activities, meals, and routines.

Responsibilities include cleaning, inventory, and sanitation, plus setup and teardown for events. Travel up to 50% may be required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Immunization compliance is required by policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required plus CDA credential or equivalent.
• One year of related work experience required.
• Must pass health examination and background checks.
• Immunization per CDC policy with exemption options.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and engage with children.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain inventory and supply ordering for cleaning materials.
• Seasonal deep cleaning and building maintenance tasks.
• Prepare and serve classroom meals; assist with family-style meals.
• Assist with classroom supervision and setup/teardown for events.
• Report safety concerns and potential hazards to supervisor.
