Job summary

Sierra Nevada Children's Services (SNCS) seeks a Provider Services Specialist to strengthen childcare quality and support providers and families. You will coach, enroll, and partner with networks to enhance education programs and ensure licensing and health standards are met.

The role emphasizes development of curricula, planning family-engaged activities, and coordinating with program leadership to support providers and children across Northern California.

Qualifications

• Current Child Development Program Director Permit or equivalent is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, ECE, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of childcare capacity by recruiting Network providers.
• Conduct site visits and provide coaching, training, and support to providers.
• Coordinate assessments using FCCERS and maintain provider files.
• Ensure providers meet nutrition, health, and safety standards.
• Develop and present training curriculum based on assessments.
• Plan developmentally appropriate activities for children with families.
